Everything Rivet does

From the first ring to the five-star review.

One app, in the order a job actually happens. No modules, no add-ons — every plan is the whole thing. Nine acts, all included.

The call you would have missed

Most lost jobs are lost before you ever knew they existed — the caller just dialed the next company. Rivet picks up.

  • Your calls, answered. One tap gets you a local number that answers in your company’s name, day or night. Forward your line to it and never miss again.
  • Every call becomes a lead — with the quote already drafted. The caller’s name, number, and job land in your pipeline with the full transcript kept, and a quote drafted from your own price book before you’ve called back.
  • Repeat callers get the short version. A number Rivet has seen before skips the new-customer questions, and the call attaches to their open job instead of creating a duplicate.
  • You hear about it instantly. Every answered call emails the owner with the summary; the Calls page keeps stats, recordings, and transcripts for the office.

A quote before you leave the driveway

Describe the job in plain words. The line items, prices, and terms are already yours.

  • Drafted from your price book, at your prices. Say what the job is — the lines come from your own catalog, never invented. Vague description? You get a clarifying question with tappable answers, not a guess.
  • Edit by asking. “Add a second thermostat, drop the duct cleaning” — the quote updates. Numbers stay deterministic; nothing changes without showing you.
  • The next line, suggested. As you add items, Rivet suggests what companies like yours quote alongside them — drawn from your own quoting history, one tap to add.
  • Photos where they belong. Attach photos to the whole quote or to a single line item. They compress in the background and follow the job to the end.
  • A customer page that closes. The customer opens one clean link on their phone — no login, your logo, your terms — and accepts by typing their name. Signer, time, and terms are recorded; the signed PDF is one tap away.
  • Follow-ups that send themselves. You see the moment a quote is viewed, and quiet reminders go out on the ones going stale — the dashboard flags which are worth a call.

Your price book is the engine

Everything smart in Rivet runs on your own numbers — which is why it never guesses.

  • A full starter book from day one. Pick your trade at signup and get a working price book computed from your labor rate and markup — every price yours to edit.
  • Bring the book you already have. Import from Excel or CSV — or snap a photo or PDF of an old quote, invoice, or rate sheet and the items are read straight off it.
  • Items that know how long they take. Each item carries labor hours, so an accepted quote knows its own duration — that is what makes the calendar honest.
  • Run a promotion without touching every price. Label a set of items and put them on promotion — “service call $9.99 this fall” — and end it just as cleanly. Quotes already sent keep their prices.

Every item knows its price and its hours

Scheduling that knows the job

Not a blank calendar — a calendar that knows how long work takes and who can take it.

  • Pick a person, see their real openings. Slot suggestions per teammate, sized by the job’s labor hours, with drive time considered — including who is already working in the area.
  • Double-booking refused. A move that lands on someone’s existing job is refused with the collision named — you decide what gives way.
  • Tomorrow’s visits, confirmed by phone. Opt in and your line calls each evening to confirm tomorrow’s times — a minute per call. A “that doesn’t work” becomes a note and a notification, never a silent change.
  • The customer hears about changes. Reschedule and the customer is emailed the new time automatically, with a reply path if it doesn’t work for them.
  • Repeating work runs itself. Weekly, monthly, or every-N visits become their own scheduled jobs — and can invoice themselves when done.

On the job, everything in one place

The technician opens one page in the driveway and has the whole story.

  • The job page is the job. Description, schedule, assignment, notes, photos, and money — one page from lead to paid, with the full history kept.
  • Customer sign-off, on your phone. When the work is done, the customer signs with a finger — signer, time, and signature stored with the job as your record the work was accepted.
  • Techs see the work, not the money. Technicians get their jobs, schedules, and notes. Revenue, prices, and invoices stay with the office — enforced everywhere, not hidden by hope.

The money side, without the chasing

From accepted quote to money in the bank without retyping anything.

  • Invoice in one tap. A completed job becomes an invoice with the same lines. If the quote changed after invoicing, Rivet says so and offers the refresh — totals never drift silently.
  • Card payments, and a QR for the kitchen table. Customers pay online through your Stripe, or scan a QR from your phone while standing next to you. Cash and checks get recorded in two taps; partial payments and refunds are handled.
  • Overdue radar. The dashboard keeps overdue invoices in front of you, and your books stay current — every invoice and payment posts itself to QuickBooks.

Customers who come back — and bring neighbors

The job after the job is where the margin lives.

  • Bring everyone you already know. Import customers from Excel, CSV, or your phone contacts in one sitting — safely re-runnable, never duplicated.
  • Reviews at the moment of delight. One tap on a finished job emails your Google and Facebook review links while the customer is happiest.
  • A portfolio that sells the next job. Star your best job photos into a portfolio you can show on a phone or iPad at the kitchen table.
  • Give a month, get a month. Every account carries a referral link — when a business you refer becomes a paying customer, your next month is on us.

“Answered at 8pm, quoted by 8:15, done by Friday.”

Ask Bolt anything

The assistant that already knows your business — because it reads your data, at your permission level.

  • Business questions, straight answers. “What’s outstanding this month?” “Which quotes went quiet?” “What’s on Tam’s Friday?” — answered from your live data, respecting what your role can see.
  • How-to, with the exact place to tap. Ask how anything works and get the path, not a lecture. Bolt is grounded in the same guide as the Help page.
  • It can do the small things. Bolt can create a lead from a conversation and reschedule a job — refusing collisions and emailing the customer — while anything outward, like sending a quote, always waits for your tap.

Built so you can trust it

The parts you never see, doing their job.

  • Your numbers are yours alone. Your price book, customers, and money are isolated to your company at every layer — no pooling, no cross-business anything, ever.
  • Nothing is ever truly lost. Closed accounts and deleted records are archived, not erased. Acceptance records keep the signer, time, and exact terms.
  • No invented numbers. Every price on every quote traces to your price book or your own edit. When something can’t be answered, Rivet says so instead of guessing.
